I’m Laura Shanahan, a freelance editor and translator with a background in the publishing industry. I provide editorial and translation services to publishers, authors, literary agencies, arts organisations and anyone else who works with words.
I’m Laura Shanahan, a freelance editor and translator with a background in the publishing industry. I provide editorial and translation services to publishers, authors, literary agencies, arts organisations and anyone else who works with words.
As an editor I predominantly specialise in fiction, and as a translator I work with a variety of creative and literary texts, ranging from novels to marketing copy. I also love combining both disciplines, and am experienced in editing translated writing as well as working on English writing by non-native speakers.
